Claude Swain – CEO
Claude Swain takes on the role of CEO at Urban AI Solutions, bringing extensive experience and infectious enthusiasm to the team. Having held key leadership roles at Verizon Wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile, Ericsson, and Tillman Infrastructure, Claude excels in managing technological, environmental, and regulatory issues with federal, local, and private entities. His demonstrated expertise in leading teams and cultivating strong business relationships is well-aligned with our strategic objectives, positioning Urban AI Solutions for substantial growth and expansion into new market areas.
Mr. Bassam Hatahet – BOD
Bassam is a highly credentialed and experienced Global Telecommunications Executive with extensive experience in “C-level” roles in the Telecom and Information Technology sectors. With three decades of success within the telecommunications industry, Mr. Hatahet brings unparalleled techno-economic expertise.
He has a wealth of experience with wireless and broadband telecom operators, regulators, vendors, and consulting companies worldwide. A dynamic, results-oriented business leader with a proven track record, Mr. Hatahet is adept at leading corporate missions with his multidisciplinary experience and consultative communication approach. He is globally networked and heavily active in Mergers and Acquisitions consulting services.
Mr. Hatahet has worked in companies such as UST, Nokia, Ericsson, Marconi, and MobileComm, holding significant roles that span sales, business development, technical direction, corporate strategy, delivery, and Senior Vice President positions.
Mr. Hatahet advocates for digital transformation and cloudification of wireless telecom networks. He holds an M.Sc. in Robotics and Automation and a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Honors) from Coventry University, UK.
Waddah Al-Zireeni, P.E. – BOD
Waddah brings a wealth of expertise to Urban AI Solutions, drawing on over 40 years of experience in civil and transportation engineering.
His distinguished career spans both California and the Middle-East Gulf region, where he has led diverse projects including the construction of civil and military infrastructure, oil and gas facilities, and advanced roadway designs. Waddah has been instrumental in developing CAD and 3D project plans, managing complex project scopes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. His background includes overseeing highway safety, traffic control, and emergency response, as well as negotiating with local and federal agencies.
Waddah’s extensive experience in project management and his innovative approach to multimodal design and sustainability will drive the integration of AI technologies at Urban AI Solutions, advancing our mission to revolutionize urban planning and infrastructure with cutting-edge solutions.
Mohammad Yazzouri – Lead Computational Biophysics Scientist
Mohammad Yazzouri is the Lead Computational Biophysics Scientist at Urban AI Life. He is currently a PhD candidate in Bioengineering at the University of California Merced. Mohammad specializes in AI/ML-driven computational biophysics, structural bioinformatics, and computational protein design and engineering. His adaptability, curiosity, and teamwork skills make him an invaluable asset to the team. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Mohammad is poised to drive innovation and advancement in Urban AI Life’s cutting-edge projects.
Supreeth Bhaskar -Applied Math Quantum Computing Researcher,
Supreeth is a forward-thinking leader in the field of quantum computing, currently spearheading innovation at UAI & BosonQ Psi (BQP). With a strong technical background in cutting-edge technologies, he focuses on leveraging quantum computing to enhance AI-driven infrastructure solutions. Supreeth is passionate about driving technological transformation in smart cities, optimizing complex data systems, and creating impactful solutions in transportation, networking, and infrastructure. His work is at the intersection of AI and quantum computing, aimed at building smarter, more efficient urban environments.
Niall Robertson -Applied Math Quantum Computing Researcher,
Niall is a distinguished research scientist in quantum computing, with a PhD in theoretical physics from École Normale Supérieure in Paris and l’Institut de Physique Théorique in Saclay. He also holds a Master of Advanced Study in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge. Niall’s extensive background in theoretical physics and quantum research directly contributes to his innovative work at UAI & IBM where he helps develop AI acceleration technologies. His expertise in quantum computing is instrumental in advancing AI-driven workload orchestration, enabling smarter and more efficient solutions for transportation and smart city infrastructure.
